SUBSTANCE: in a narrow-band laser with an external resonator, including semiconductor active element 1 arranged along optical axis 5 of the resonator with a mirror placed on the side of its outer end, reflecting radiation inside the resonator, and an antireflection coating on its other end, collimator 2, band-pass filter 3 with a narrow pass band and Fabry-Perot standard 4, Fabry-Perot standard 4 is installed normally to optical axis 5 of the resonator as an output element reflecting part of the radiation inside the resonator and transmitting the output laser radiation, and band-pass filter 3 is made with pass band, boundary values of which limit the asymmetric part of the spectral curve of one dip in the reflection spectrum of Fabry-Perot standard 4 so that the resonator modes within the specified pass band meet the condition Kmax≥Kicon.
