FIELD: radio communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of amplifying and demodulating frequency-modulated signals consists in using a constant voltage source, interaction of a frequency-modulated signal with a device, which is made from a direct transmission circuit in the form of a three-pole nonlinear element, a reactive four-terminal network, an external feedback circuit, low-pass filter, separating capacitance and low-frequency load, meeting the matching conditions, converting the frequency-modulated signal into an amplitude-frequency-modulated signal on the left slope of the amplitude-frequency characteristic, splitting the spectrum of the amplitude-frequency-modulated signal, separating the low-frequency component, eliminating the constant component, using a four-terminal network as an external feedback circuit, connected to a three-terminal nonlinear element in a parallel-series circuit, matching conditions by criterion of simultaneous provision of amplification and frequency demodulation are performed due to selection of frequency dependences of parameters of reactive four-terminal network.

EFFECT: amplification and frequency demodulation of a high-frequency signal using a device with an increased dynamic range and a quasi-linear section of the frequency demodulation characteristic.
