SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication and can be used for creation of amplifiers and frequency demodulation. Method of amplifying and demodulating frequency-modulated signals is based on interaction of frequency-modulated signal with the device is made of a forward transmission circuit in the form of three-terminal nonlinear element, four-terminal element, external feedback circuit, low-pass filter, separating tank and low-frequency load, meeting conditions for matching forward transmission circuit with external feedback circuit, conditions for matching external feedback circuit with control electrode of the three-terminal nonlinear element, converting frequency-modulated signal in amplitude-frequency-modulated signal, note here that parameters of elements is selected in accordance with a given mathematical expression.

EFFECT: technical result is increased dynamic range at quasi-linear section of the frequency demodulation characteristics.
