SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication. Method of amplifying and demodulating frequency-modulated signals is characterised by that four-terminal element is resistive, external feedback circuit used is an arbitrary complex four-terminal element connected in series to three polar nonlinear element, which with feedback circuit include as integral unit a cascade between source of signal with complex resistance and input of resistive four-terminal element, between output of four-terminal element and low-pass filter includes high-frequency load in form of a bi-pole with complex resistance modulus mp, and resonant frequency of device is selected to form given quasi-linear slope section of left slope amplitude-frequency characteristics of device in a given frequency band.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of amplification and frequency demodulation with increased linear section of frequency demodulation characteristics and increased dynamic range at arbitrary characteristics of the nonlinear element, external feedback and load circuits.
