SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for filtration of gases and liquids from mechanical impurities. Mesh filter contains a perforated base, which is tightly connected at the ends with a cover and a flange for outlet of the purified medium, and a filtering screen. On non-perforated outer part of the base working surface there is a profile with a shape of its location in the form of a straight or S-shaped curve. Profile is made of metal or polymer and has round, rectangular or triangular shape and is installed on base with provision of gap between mesh and base.

EFFECT: high throughput capacity of the mesh filter.
