SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fan engineering and, in particular, can be used in ventilation, heating systems and as an air flow generator, for example, in pneumatic systems of grain and seed cleaning machines. Counterflow transverse fan comprises a housing with an inlet hole and an outlet nozzle and a separating flat wall equipped with a louver grid, an impeller installed in the housing, which is conjugated, for example, along a logarithmic spiral with the inlet edge of the fan housing, above the inlet hole, straight wall installed parallel to the separating flat wall and forming an inlet channel, made on the spiral part of the fan housing with length of 0.4…0.5 of outer diameter D2 of impeller, in which longitudinally located at equal distance from each other and hingedly fixed are rectilinear rotary planes with length of 0.4…0.8 D2, free ends of which are directed to the side opposite to the fan impeller. Each of rectilinear rotary planes is rigidly fixed on movable axes of its cranks. At that, pins of cranks are hinged in located in central part at equal distance from each other individual holes of flat link, which is perpendicular and movably connected through longitudinal slots on its both ends, with two guide pins inserted into these slots, which are welded by the back side to the brackets, which, in their turn, are rigidly fixed by their bases on the outer side of the spiral casing of the fan. At that, at one end of the front side of the flat link there is an adjustment handle perpendicularly fixed for turning the link.

EFFECT: providing service personnel – operational efficiency of fan operation in several modes of its operation, which are used due to different types of technological process, for example, grain and seed cleaning machines, and, accordingly, considerably expanded functional capabilities of using the fan.
