SUBSTANCE: device for attaching an optical element, such as an otoscope, to a smartphone for diagnosing and/or identifying problems in the external ear, middle ear and/or ear canal of a patient. Device may comprise a main body. Main body can comprise an opening and a first engagement element which is configured to engage with a second engagement structure which belongs to the optical element. First surface can be connected to the main body and is made with possibility of contact with the first surface of the smartphone. Piston may be provided which may comprise a second surface which may be parallel to the first surface and may be in contact with the second surface of the smartphone. Threaded handle can be provided and can be connected to the piston through the hole.

EFFECT: use of this invention will allow aligning the camera of an intelligent device with an otoscope so that an image or video can be taken (for example, a clear image or a clear video).
