FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geoecology and can be used to determine the ecological status of a territory for content of trace elements Zn, Cu and Se. Samples of wild-growing grasses and/or agricultural plants cuttings are taken in an accumulative point of a catena. Collected samples are dried to constant weight. Averaged sample is extracted and content of Zn, Cu and Se is determined in it. Obtained values are compared with established reference values, from the exceeding of which the ecological status of the territory is determined.

EFFECT: reduction of labour costs and time expenditures.
