METHOD FOR PREVENTIVE TREATMENT OF CULTIVATED PLANT TO LIMIT LOSS OF DRY SUBSTANCE ASSOCIATED WITH ABIOTIC AND/OR BIOTIC STRESS Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A01N49/00 A01N45/00 A01N25/02 A01P1/00 A01P3/00

Abstract RU 2838882 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to means and methods of protecting plants for limiting loss of dry substance. Base in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion for preparing a suspension for limiting the loss of dry substance of a cultivated plant under conditions of abiotic and/or biotic stress contains: from 0.2% to 30% by weight of a surfactant base, which is a mixture containing sucrose stearate and sucrose palmitate or mono-, di-, tri- and/or polyesters; from 0.5% to 10% by weight of the mixture of phytosterols containing β-sitosterol, wherein β-sitosterol is at least 30% by weight of the mixture, and the balance is a mixture of campesterol, stigmasterol and brassicasterine; from 1% to 15% by weight of the diluent base, preferably polyethylene glycol with number-average molecular weight from 200 Da to 8000 Da, preferably from 250 Da to 1000 Da, more preferably 400 Da; or vegetable oil; from 0.1% to 5% by weight of a wetting agent base, preferably a mixture of methyl esters consisting of methyl tetradecanoate, methyl octadecanoate and methyl hexadecanoate; from 0.1% to 5% by weight of a preservative base, such as benzyl alcohol; from 0.01% to 5% by weight of a base of a natural or synthetic chelating agent, preferably EDTA; and the rest is water up to 100%, wherein the phytosterol/surfactant mixture weight ratio is from 0.01 to 5 and the base particle size is less than 500 mcm. Surfactant is a mixture containing: from 20% to 80% by weight of a surfactant, preferably 70 % sucrose stearate and from 20% to 80% by weight of a surfactant, preferably 30% sucrose palmitate. Phytosterol/surfactant mixture ratio is 0.1 to 2.5. Method for preventive treatment of a cultivated plant to limit the loss of dry substance associated with abiotic or biotic stress, involving the application of a suspension containing a base in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion to the plant before the onset of stress.

EFFECT: proposed suspension containing base in the form of “oil-in-water” emulsion reduces loss of dry substance weight, increases crop capacity of cultivated plants and plants resistance to external negative factors.
