FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to design of gondola car bodies, in particular the design of power rods used in end walls. End wall belt comprises bent profile (1) formed by wall, two flanges and bends arranged at an angle to flanges, made of steel sheet with thickness (S) from 4.5 to 5.5 mm. Profile width (B) is made in range from 307 to 311 mm. Profile height (H) is made in range of 143-147 mm. Profile wall (A) is made in range from 187 to 200 mm. Bending (L) is made in range of 38 to 42 mm. Bending is located to the profile flange at an angle (a) in range from 96 to 102°. Plate (2) with thickness (a) from 5.5 to 8.5 mm and width (b) from 78 to 122 mm is rigidly fixed to wall of bent profile (1).
EFFECT: invention provides for equal-strength structure of gondola car end wall belt combined with reduction of metal consumption.
