FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry and the chemistry of surfactants, namely to a preparation process of polyglycerol and of vegetable oils (sunflower, soybean, palm, hydrogenated palm and coconut oil) fatty acids esters, which show the properties of emulsifiers and can be applied in food and cosmetic products. Polyglycerol and vegetable oils fatty acids esters producing method is characterized by that the performing reaction of the polyglycerol with an average degree of polymerization of 5 (the hydroxyl value is equal to 1169±50 mg KOH/g, refractive index is 1.4890-1.4905) and mixtures of vegetable oils fatty acid methyl esters of formula RCOOCH3, where R are the residues of vegetable oils (sunflower, soybean, palm, hydrogenated palm and coconut) fatty acids, containing from 6 to 22 carbon atoms and up to 3 double bonds, with a molar ratio of the reagents polyglycerol:fatty acids methyl esters (MESFA) = 1:1; 1:2; 1:3.5; 1:7, by holding a mixture of polyglycerol and MESFA without solvent, with stirring under vacuum of 300 mbar at a temperature of 150°C for 2 hours, subsequent addition of the catalyst - sodium methylate in an amount of 0.4-0.6% of the charge total weight and holding the reaction mass with stirring and at a temperature of 230°C under vacuum of 70 mbar for 6-8 hours with removal of the escaping methanol.
EFFECT: technical result is in obtaining of polyglycerol and fatty acids of vegetable oils esters in a simple and technological way without a solvent.
