FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protecting metals from corrosion using inhibitors and can be used to protect various equipment made of copper and its alloys. 5-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylamine are used as inhibitors of copper and copper-containing alloys in neutral chloride solutions, as well as 5-(piperidin-1-yl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylamine, 5-(morpholin-4-yl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylamine and 5-(4-benzylpiperazin-1-yl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylamine.
EFFECT: technical result is an effective reduction in the corrosion rate of copper and copper-containing alloys at low inhibitor concentrations in neutral solutions of chlorides under conditions close to the operating conditions of equipment made of copper and its alloys.
