SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of organic heterocyclic compounds, specifically to azo-derivatives of aminophenols of formula (I), where R1 = R2 = H; or R1 and R2 together form a substitute of the type CR3R4, where R3 = H, CH3, R4 = H, CH3, C2H5, C3H7, C5H11, C8H17; R5 = H, R6 = OS(O)2CH3, OH, or R5 = OS(O)2CH3, OH, R6 = H, or R5 = C(O)OAllyl, C(O)ONa, R6 = OAllyl, OH; X = H, Na.
EFFECT: compounds of formula (I) are effective inhibitors of formation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs).
