FIELD: railway traffic control.

SUBSTANCE: system for controlling movement of trains following according to a "virtual coupling" technology comprises, on each locomotive involved in the control system: locomotive interfaces matching unit, onboard radio station, locomotive control unit, operator panel, satellite navigation signals receiver, ALSN signals receiving unit, safety device unit, automatic control unit, automatic guidance onboard database unit, M-Link multifunctional wireless modem, locomotive position control unit, data storage and transmission unit and locomotive telemetric data processing unit. Output of the M-Link radio modem is connected to the input of the automatic control unit for switching on the control function for increasing the speed of the locomotive on the automatic braking curve. Wherein said set of trains following in parallel is controlled as a single object with its parts interconnected via local data radio channel by M-Link multifunctional radio modems.

EFFECT: high throughput while maintaining the required level of safety of train movement.
