FIELD: medical science.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used in treating caries. Instrumental and drug-induced treatment of the tooth cavity is performed. Temporary exposure of an antimicrobial preparation therein followed by a permanent filling. Bottom and walls of the cavity are coated with a mixture of calcium hydroxocuprate and hydrosol of silver nanoparticles in size of 1-10 nm with particle concentration of 3 mg/l in ratio 1:1 for 1 day. In the cavity for electroplating, placing a spiral made of a sterile strip of aluminium foil with thickness of 0.05-0.1 mm, width of 1-3 mm and length of 10 mm, positioning it in the formed cavity so that the spiral turns are at the level of the temporary filling being installed. When the cavity is closed with the isolating temporary filling, an end face of the foil spiral is left uncovered with the filling material.

EFFECT: by direct antimicrobial action on persistent microorganisms inaccessible for mechanical and drug-induced treatment of the dentinal tubule network, the method provides the high-effective antimicrobial and dentinal tubule-obturing action, increases the effectiveness of the recurrent caries prevention procedure.
