FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for producing lead selenide films with shifted to long-wavelength region "red" boundary of photoresponse. Method of producing lead selenide films with a photoresponse "red" boundary shifted towards the long-wavelength region involves chemical deposition of films from a reaction mixture containing: lead salt 0.05 mol/l, sodium citrate 0.35 mol/l, ammonium hydroxide 0.25 mol/l, chalcogenizer, as well as heat treatment in air at 663 K, wherein reaction mixture additionally contains ammonium iodide in concentration of 0.05-0.45 mol/l, and chalcogenizer used is sodium selenosulphate in amount of 0.06-0.15 mol/l.
EFFECT: enabling shift of the "red" boundary of the photoresponse of lead selenide films to the long-wave region of the infrared spectrum.
