FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, namely to poultry feeding. Protein vitamin-mineral additive for feeding broiler chickens and laying hens in the form of methanotrophic bacteria Methylococcus capsulatus strain VKPM B-13554 is created. Additive is obtained by microbiological synthesis from natural gas by culturing methanotrophic bacteria Methylococcus capsulatus strain VKPM B-13554 on a mineral medium with a crude protein content of 74.7–78.1% and containing natural forms of water-soluble B vitamins and organic forms of microelements in the form of proteinates. Method of using the created protein vitamin and mineral additive for feeding broiler chickens and laying hens consists in including the fodder protein vitamin and mineral additive in the composition of the feedstuff in the required and sufficient quantity during the whole period of growing broiler chickens and keeping of laying hens. Fish meal is replaced in the diet, as well as water-soluble B vitamins, such as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, and microelements, such as copper, iron, manganese, zinc, cobalt in the premix.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions will make it possible to obtain high indices of poultry breeding and maintenance, as well as to increase the range of protein vitamin and mineral additives.
