FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial microbiology. The strain of bacteria Methylococcus capsulatus LBTI 029, which has the ability to produce feed protein, is deposited in the National Bioresource Center - the All-Russian Collection of Industrial Microorganisms (NBC RNCIM) of the RF under the registration number RNCIM B-13554. The strain of bacteria Methylococcus capsulatus RNCIM B-13554 can be used in industry to obtain a protein feed additive, in particular for balancing feed when feeding farm animals, poultry and aquaculture.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the yield of feed protein.
