FIELD: furniture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture industry, namely to furniture transformation supports. Support for transformation of furniture consists of two parts: upper support and lower support. Upper support is made in the form of a metal structure forming a detachable backrest or a detachable armrest, having support side fixing elements and a base and made with the possibility of attachment of detachable covers and interchangeable soft elements. Lower support is made in the form of a metal frame, which includes a metal platform and a support leg and support fixing elements in the form of parts forming holes for insertion of the upper support. Metal platform has a corner in the form of a piece of metal extruded in the platform and bent for mutual connection of furniture units by means of a tightening clamp. Upper support is made with possibility of insertion into holes of fixing elements of lower support and its fixation by means of pin connection.

EFFECT: simplifying the design of transformable furniture, increasing mobility, simplifying transportation, providing the possibility of changing the positions of backs and armrests along the perimeter of the furniture and ensuring the possibility of protecting the upholstery and furniture covers from damage.
