FIELD: furniture design.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of furniture production, namely to structures for the transformation of upholstered furniture, and can be used for folding and unfolding transformed upholstered furniture. The design for the transformation of upholstered furniture contains at least two supporting frames, a linen drawer, at least two hinges, each of which is attached on one side to the back of upholstered furniture, and on the other side to each supporting frame of the upholstered furniture seat. Each of the load-bearing frames is made in the form of a U-shaped element consisting of an upper guide and two side parts, and contains load-bearing rollers mounted on the guide of each U-shaped element, which is rigidly fixed to the linen drawer by means of fastening elements placed in mounting holes made on the sides of the U-shaped element. Each hinge has a hinge axis made with the possibility of its placement in the hole made at the end of each guide, with the possibility of providing free rotation and longitudinal movement of the hinge axis in the hole of each guide during the transformation of upholstered furniture. The seat has a support element installed in the lower part of the front panel of the seat, as well as locking elements fixed on the lower surface of the seat and made with the possibility of securing the seat from spontaneous rolling out.

EFFECT: improving the reliability of the structure for the transformation of upholstered furniture while ensuring the simplicity of this design.
