FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring equipment, intended for the linear accelerations measuring, and can be used in the inertial converters units manufacturing. Method of compensating for misorientation error of sensitivity axes of accelerometers of an inertial converter unit (ICU) involves successive installation thereof in the required fixed positions, recording readings of the accelerometers and calculating calibration coefficients. ICU is installed in three stages, each of which is based on location of unit of inertial converters so that one of its axes OX, OY, OZ is in horizontal plane. By successively turning the ICU around the horizontal axis, it is installed so that one of the other two axes is directed vertically up or down, wherein the other axis must be located in the horizontal plane, the readings of the accelerometers of the ICU are recorded, then it is turned about the axis, which is located vertically, and the readings of the accelerometers of the ICU are also recorded.
EFFECT: high accuracy of the inertial converter unit.
