FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of processing oil, in particular to methods of producing jet fuel. Invention relates to a method of producing jet fuel, which includes oil rectification with separation of straight-run kerosene fraction, demercaptanisation of kerosene fraction with beginning of boiling point from 130-140 °C to end of boiling 250 °C by contacting the descending flow of the kerosene fraction with hydrogen on the catalyst bed in the reactor, a kerosene fraction obtained during the hydrocracking of vacuum gas oil in amount of 9 to 25 wt.% from the mixture is then added to the demercaptanised kerosene fraction.
EFFECT: output of jet fuel increases from 2.2 to 3.7% per processed oil, at the same time temperature of the beginning of fuel crystallization is reduced by two degrees.
