SUBSTANCE: invention relates to handle. Mechanical handle comprises an external rod, an adjustment element, an instrument body, a release element, a control element and a positioning element. Adjustment element incorporates displacement element. Positioning element is provided with a positioning slot, and the displacement element is movable in the positioning slot. Tool body has two positions: rod retraction position and rod extension position, and adjustment element provides stability of these two positions by means of positioning slot, discharge element and control element. Reset element provides for stable state of displacement element. Displacement element is movable to a rod extension position in the positioning groove. Control element is configured to limit displacement element. Additionally, the displacement element is configured to be separated from the control element by means of an external force applied to the control element. Positioning slot is equipped with projection for rod extension, switching wall for rod retraction and long switching wall. In addition, control element is equipped with control rod, and control rod is equipped with limiting projection. Displacement element is configured to bypass the limiting protrusion through the long switching wall and to return through the switching wall to retract the rod to the rod retracting position. Protrusion for rod extension is equipped with sliding wall for rod extension, which is made straight. Displacement element is movable under the action of the release element in the inclined direction of the sliding wall to extend the rod to the rod extension position.

EFFECT: ensuring high productivity in the mass production of a handle having both a trigger retraction mechanism for the rod and a lifting retraction mechanism for the rod.
