FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry and is a method of stopping glucose oxidase and peroxidase enzymatic reaction, involving addition of proteolytic enzymes to the medium of the enzymatic reaction, where the enzymes used are the following preparations: Pancreatin or Kreon with a concentration of not less than 640 protease units of these preparations per litre of the solution, in which it is necessary to stop the enzymatic reaction; Panzinorm forte with minimum activity of proteases 900 units, amylase 12,000 units, lipase 20,000 units, Kreon in capsules with the release of a mixture of enzymes from capsules in amount of 150 mg of pancreatine in a capsule, which contains lipase with activity of not less than 1,000 units, amylase – 8,000 units, protease 600 units or Kreon, containing 300 mg of pancreatine and having lipase activity 25,000 units, amylases 18,000 units, protease 1,000 units; a concentrated protease solution is prepared from the preparation so that the final protease activity is not less than 640 Units per litre of solution in which the enzymatic reaction must be stopped; the volume of the solution containing proteases should be 0.1 ml per 5 ml of the medium to stop the enzymatic reaction.
EFFECT: disclosed method of stopping enzymatic reactions does not cause formation of precipitated proteins, does not require subsequent centrifugation or other method of their separation and does not lead to change in transparency of solutions.
