FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of multi-wall panels from polymer composites and may be used in production of aircraft and spacecraft. Proposed method comprises laying of prepreg solid sheets for top and bottom envelopments and walls on forming tooling surface, forming envelopments and walls, and glue joint of envelopments and walls. Prepreg for panel top part is glued on transformable tooling in flat state and then together with tooling takes shape of upper ribbed skin. Prepreg for panel lower part is also glued on tooling and takes shape of ribbed bottom skin, ribs of which have rectangular shape with slot. Width of slots is equal to thickness of upper skin ribs, and depth of slots is less than height of upper skin ribs. After forming skins, ribs of top skin enter grooves of bottom skin and are glued together to make panel wall structure.
EFFECT: method of manufacturing a multi-wall panel allows for the most efficient production of a power shell structure for the panel due to the use of solid sheet materials and transformable equipment.
