FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: universal tie-rod of torsion stabilizer of transverse stability of vehicle body comprises rod with heads at its ends. In the centre of the heads there are round stepped through asymmetric holes with axes perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rod and parallel to each other. Hinges are fitted in said holes. Ends of holes are equipped with covers with bolt connection using blind threaded holes. Threaded holes are evenly distributed in circumferential direction and coaxial to central holes. Rod is bent in its middle part in the plane passing through axes of central holes in heads, with mutual parallelism of its ends displaced by the value “b” within the established modulus of difference of transverse distances of hinge joints from longitudinal vertical plane of the vehicle. Rod heads are two-layered. Inner layers of heads are cylindrical bushings-inserts with central holes. Bushings-inserts are installed in external layers of heads according to technology of heat landing, with possibility of their installation orientation plus/minus 180° relative to external layers of heads.
EFFECT: improved technical and operational characteristics and capabilities of rods and torsion stabilizers.
