FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transverse stability stabilizers. Vehicle body transverse stability torsion stabilizer link workpiece comprises rod with heads at its ends. Heads are made as bodies for spherical hinges of on-board location, interconnection of tie-rod with free end of torsion stabilizer lever and with vehicle frame. In each head there is a central through round hole with axis perpendicular to longitudinal axis of rod. Rod is bent in the middle part in the plane passing through axes of holes in heads, with mutual parallelism of its displaced ends by the value within the established module of difference of transverse distances of hinge joints from longitudinal vertical plane of the vehicle. Diameters of holes are equal to minimum diameters of stepped central through holes in housings of tie-rod heads, with possibility of subsequent boring to the specified stepped configuration for hinges and making missing threaded holes for at least one end cover of one of tie-rod heads.
EFFECT: universality is achieved for vehicles with different-signed differences in transverse dimensions of the articulated joints of the rods, and an increase in technical and operational characteristics.
