FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-insulating compositions for producing heat-shielding coatings based thereon and can be used for heat-insulating pipelines and metal building structures of industrial equipment and housing and communal services. Disclosed is a heat-insulating composition containing (wt.%) as polymer binder an aqueous dispersion of polymers: polyvinyl acetate (8.78 -13.20) and butyl acrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile polymer (5.59 -14.05), filler – hollow aluminosilicate microspheres with diameter 200-500 mcm (52.20-61.20), as process additives – surfactant (0.81-2.03), biocide (0.09-0.13), aqueous ammonia (0.05-0.13), persulphuric ammonium (0.08-0.11), calcined soda (0.06-0.07) and polyvinyl alcohol (0.43-0.65), Water is contained in an amount which supplements the composition with up to 100 wt.%.
EFFECT: high moisture resistance of the heat-insulating coating made from the disclosed heat-insulating composition, while maintaining heat-insulating and physical-mechanical properties.
