FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to reduce losses of electric energy in three-phase four-wire low-voltage networks with non-uniform and / or asymmetric load and increase throughput capacity of these networks. Device comprises three automatically controlled capacitor units connected between each phase of the network and neutral wire, wherein in each capacitor unit there is one uncontrolled (first) stage, the power of which is designed for a constant component of the PM of the load. Three independent units are used to control PM compensation for each phase. Each unit is connected to its current transformer installed in each phase of the network, and phase voltage of the corresponding phase, which enables to independently determine the power factor for each phase of the network by determining the current value of the power factor independently for each phase of the network and comparing it with the set values. If current value of power factor is less than allowable value, signal is sent to increase capacitance of capacitor plant due to controlled capacitor of this phase (CA, CB, CC). Otherwise capacitance of capacitor plant will decrease. As a result, the device will perform independent one-phase PM compensation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of losses in general-purpose electrical networks up to 1,000 V with blind-earthed neutral and increase in their throughput by phase-by-phase regulation of compensation of PM when using constant stage in control system.
