FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for forming edges of cellulose articles in a forming mould system and to forming mould (S) system, wherein forming mould system can form cellulose articles from air-formed structure of cellulose blank (2). System of forming mould comprises first part of mould (3) and second part of mould (4), made with possibility to interact with each other. First mould part comprises edge forming device (5) with protruding element to compact and separate fibres of cellulose workpiece structure. Edge forming device is installed with possibility to move relative to the mould first part base structure (3a), and edge forming device is configured to cooperate with pressure element (6) located in base structure. Method comprises the steps of: providing an air-formed structure of the cellulose workpiece and positioning the structure of the cellulose workpiece between the first mould part and the second mould part; forming a compacted edge structure of cellulose articles by separating the fibres of the cellulose workpiece structure using a protruding element, applying edge forming temperature to the cellulose workpiece structure and compacting the cellulose workpiece structure by applying an edge forming pressure by means of a pressure element to the cellulose workpiece structure between the protruding element and the second part of the mould.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method for forming edges of cellulose articles in a forming mould system and a moulding system for forming edges of cellulose articles.
