FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for imaging peripheral retina and ciliary body in diagnosing anterior proliferative vitreoretinopathy. That is ensured by three-port vitreoretinal intervention 25 G through a flat portion of a ciliary body. Ports for the vitreous cutter, endo-lighter and infusion cannula are created at 3–4 mm from the limb. Then vitrectomy is performed. Perfluoroorganic liquid is introduced into the vitreal cavity. Then pressure of solutions supply into vitreal cavity is reduced to 15 mm Hg. Further, scleropression is performed by pressing in a predetermined meridian of the sclera with the edge of the strabismus hook, at that, simultaneously using the endo-lighter introduced endovitreally from the side opposite to the selected meridian, the extreme periphery of the retina and the ciliary body are illuminated and inspected. Pathological membranes are localised, expressed and extended. Vitreous cutter is used to remove pathological membranes on an extreme periphery, or to perform retinotomy. Perfluoroorganic liquid is removed from the vitreal cavity and replaced with silicone oil or left for postoperative tamponade; at the second stage, the perfluoroorganic liquid is removed and replaced with silicone oil.

EFFECT: invention allows to accurately assess the localization, severity and extent of the proliferative process during the surgical intervention, remove the pathological membranes if any, reduce the number of recurrences of the retinal detachment.
