SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cartridge (110) for a rod-shaped article which generates an aerosol for use with an aerosol-generating device with induction heating. Cartridge comprises evaporation chamber (111) in cartridge far end for evaporation of aerosol-forming liquid therein, as well as chamber-reservoir (112) near evaporation chamber for storage of liquid forming aerosol. Cartridge further comprises membrane (160) forming an element in the form of a common wall of the evaporation chamber and the reservoir chamber, as well as liquid-carrying current collector (140), made and arranged so as to transfer the aerosol-forming liquid from the reservoir chamber to the evaporation chamber, as well as inductively heated when used with a device for evaporating a liquid forming an aerosol inside the evaporation chamber. In addition, the cartridge has a vapor transfer channel (120) providing fluid communication for the evaporated liquid forming an aerosol from the evaporation chamber to the area near the chamber-reservoir. Membrane comprises a through hole through which the steam transfer channel passes or in which it is retained in the far end, and at least one filling hole (169) for filling the chamber-reservoir through the evaporation chamber with the liquid forming the aerosol. Present invention further relates to an aerosol-generating article comprising such a cartridge, as well as to an aerosol-generating system comprising such an article.
