SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to generation of inhaled aerosols. Aerosol-generating article comprises a hollow cylindrical main part of a reservoir with an open end, comprising a tubular outer wall and an inner separating wall extending between two opposite inner parts of the tubular outer wall to divide the inner cavity of the main part of the reservoir into a first compartment and a second compartment. First compartment and the second compartment adjoin each other along the longitudinal axis of the hollow cylindrical main part of the reservoir. Besides, the product comprises the first end cap attached to the first end of the main part of the reservoir, which tightly closes at least the first compartment on the first end of the main part of the reservoir. Product additionally contains the second end plug attached to the second end of the main part of the reservoir, which tightly closes the first compartment and the second compartment on the second end face of the main part of the reservoir. Second end cap comprises a fluid passage for fluid communication between the first compartment and the second compartment. Present invention also relates to an aerosol generating system comprising such an article and an aerosol generating device for use with the article. Present invention also relates to a method of making such an article.
