FIELD: railways.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a switch for rail tracks for rail vehicles. Railroad switch (1) for rail tracks for rail vehicles with main track (2) and at least one switching track (3) included in main track (2). Main track (2) and switching track (3) each have at least two rails (4) in at least separate areas. On facing to ballast layer (6) lower sides of sleepers (5) between sleepers (5) and ballast layer (6) there respectively arranged are sleeper pads (7), each with at least one elastomer layer (8). Switch assembly (1) has frog core (9) in which main track (2) rail (4) facing switching track (3) and switching track (3) rail (4) facing main track (2) are reduced. Area (10) of frog passes from frog core (9) in opposite directions (11, 12). Corresponding elastomeric layers (8) of corresponding sleeper pads (7) of sleepers (5) in area (10) of switch frog are softer than corresponding elastomeric layers (8) of corresponding sleeper pads (7) in areas of switch (1) before and after area of switch frog (10).

EFFECT: as a result, an improved slip switch is created, with which it is possible to counteract the onset of concussions and noise due to the intersection of the gap of the switch frog.
