SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry, namely to underground ore mining. Method of elimination of rock mass hang-ups at second mining of thin steep ore bodies by development system with ore shrinkage or in holes and ore chutes at process schemes of development of deposits with any mining and geological conditions, including use of explosion energy. Delivery to place of hanging rock explosive substance is carried out by a device capable of moving in air space without a pilot on board, after which, in the immediate vicinity of the rock mass hanging, the explosive charge detonation is performed without the need for separation from the device.

EFFECT: this method makes it possible to eliminate hang-ups of rock mass formed at a considerable height in a mining space or an ore chute without people being dangerously close to the explosion site.
