FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a polymer composite material based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). The material contains filled organomodified clinoptilolite as a modifier, for which the adsorption of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide on the surface of clinoptilolite is preliminarily performed by holding the selected clinoptilolite fraction 10-50 mcm in an aqueous solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide at a temperature of 25 ± 1 °C for the next 96 ± 4 hours, followed by washing and drying clinoptilolite at a temperature of 80 ± 1 °C for 1 ± 0.1 hours. Further, at a temperature of 25 ± 1 °C until a constant mass is reached, the stage of dispersing a mixture of UHMWPE and the resulting organomodified clinoptilolite is carried out under conditions of vigorous stirring in a mixer for 15 ± 1 min and subsequent drying at a temperature of 80 ± 1 °C until a constant mass is reached. The invention also relates to a polymer composite material.
EFFECT: use of the present invention will make it possible to obtain products intended for use in movable friction units of machines and mechanisms, due to the improved operational properties of the new material, namely, increased abrasion resistance, tensile strength and elongation at break.
