FIELD: treating radioactively contaminated material.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method for decontamination of inner surfaces of NPP pipelines. Proposed plant comprises abrasive-jet device including tank to accommodate fluid-free abrasive composition communicated with compressed air compressor. Abrasive-blasting hose is connected to abrasive-blasting device and made with possibility of movement inside pipeline. At the end of the sleeve there is a nozzle, on the body of which around its axis there is a row of at least four equidistant from each other holes made in the form of diffusers and directed so that the resulting force of the abrasive composition leaving the holes is directed in the direction opposite to the nozzle movement, providing independent movement of nozzle and connected to it sleeves along pipeline.
EFFECT: non-disassembly decontamination of pipelines from radioactive deposits without formation of liquid radioactive wastes, which makes it possible to easily transfer the obtained wastes to a state suitable for burial.
