FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a galvanized strip. Hot-dip galvanizing is performed at strip speed of at least 60 m/min. Strip is straightened by rollers. Position of correcting roller relative to stationary one is maintained for not more than 100 mm. Hot galvanizing is performed with temperature of zinc melt 420-460 °C. Formation of zinc coating is carried out with gas knives, which are arranged at distance of 16-61 mm from the strip and at distance of 120-300 mm from the surface of zinc melt. One gas knife is arranged at negative angle to horizon making 0.1-1.5 degrees while another one is located at negative angle to horizon making 0.5-2.0 degrees. Inclination of one of the knives is less than the other.
EFFECT: reduced leaks on galvanized strip.
