METHOD FOR PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS OF INDIVIDUAL SIGNS OF CHRONIC POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER IN MILITARY COMBATANTS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2692454 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to psychiatry and medical psychology. Method includes stress-testing on a hardware program complex using video, audio and electrical stimuli. On the monitor screen, the patient being tested is alternatively exposed to stress stimuli consisting of a video sequence for 4 minutes, then the audition session for 1 minute, followed by a rest phase, and finally the subject is exposed to electric discharges on the wrist of the left hand for 1 minute 20 seconds. Discharge power is selected individually before the stress testing procedure. During the stress testing, an audio instruction is performed before presentation of each stimulus material. During the examination at the stages of rest, start and finish, the photoplethysmogramm is recorded and the amplitude of the systolic wave ACB (pm) is determined at the resting stage ACBRest, at start-up phase ACBStart and at finish stage of ACBFinish. By formulas F1=-1.13671*ACBRest+0.67812*ACBStart+1.55106*ACBFinish-1.91536; F2=1.57987*ACBRest-0.48947*ACBStart+0.08717*ACBFinish-2.53516 values F1 and F2 are determined. If F1>F2, the soldier has signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, and if F2>F1, the soldier has no signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.

EFFECT: technical result is a more objective assessment of the above features by using the technology of recording physiological parameters when presenting stress stimuli.
