DEVICE DETERMINING SPEED OF MOVEMENT OF OBJECT RELATIVE TO SURFACE OF EARTH Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device determining speed of movement of object relative to surface of the Earth incorporates time counter which first output is connected to synchronizer to which outputs first and second magnetometers are connected in parallel. Their magneto-sensitive elements are located at fixed distanced from each other in direction of determination of speed of movement of object. Output of first magnetometer is connected to second input of storage and output of second magnetometer - to third input of comparator. Second output of time counter is connected to first inputs of comparator and storage which output is connected to second input of comparator. Outputs of comparator and storage are connected to inputs of computing unit. For increase of precision device is supplemented with third magnetometer which magneto-sensitive element is also placed at fixed distance from magneto- sensitive element of second magnetometer along direction of determination of speed. Input of third magnetometer is connected to output of synchronizer and its output - to fourth input of comparator. Output of second magnetometer is connected to third input of storage. EFFECT: increased precision of determination of speed.
