FIELD: metallurgy of ferrous metals. SUBSTANCE: charge has, wt.-%: lime 24-32; depleted flux of electroslag remelting 7-10, and dump slag in master alloy production with rare-earth elements - the rest. Cost of slag is decreased almost two-fold, mechanical properties of steel worked with slag are increased by 20-30%. EFFECT: decreased cost, retaining of refining properties, enhanced mechanical properties, enlarged raw base for making of synthetic slags. 1 tbl
