FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: discharger has cylindrical case 1 accommodating two main rod electrodes 4 and oval-section firing electrode 8 fixed on shaft joined via reduction unit with rotational drive. Main electrodes 4 are secured on inner surface of hollow insulating cylinder 10 mounted coaxially to case in a spaced relation to the latter; air feeder is made in the form of shell 12 with blades 13; reduction unit is closed with shroud 14 in the form of truncated cone whose smaller base faces the electrodes. Erosion products hopper 17 with annular pocket 19 is mounted in case 1. Main rod electrodes 4 are triangle-shaped and secured on insulating cylinder 10 which is provided with metal straps on either side of main electrodes. EFFECT: improved operating reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
