Abstract SU 1381858 A1

FIELD: welding technology. SUBSTANCE: aluminium and copper foils are placed between punch and die. Exposing them to outside pressure one registers moment of start of emergence of signals of acoustic emission. Rate of repetition of signals of acoustic emission exceeding specified threshold of amplitude is determined. Pressure corresponding to maximum rate of repetition of signals is found, pressure is released at the moment when it reaches value 5-10 times exceeding value of pressure corresponding to maximum rate of repetition of signals. Method makes it possible to diminish amount of rejects by 8%. EFFECT: improved provision for stability of parameters of joint when welding aluminium foil with oxide coat and copper foil. 1 dwg
