FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: composite magnetic material based on intermetallic compound of samarium with cobalt SmCo5 contains binding agent in form of epoxy lacquer with the following component amounts, mas.%: epoxy lacquer 4-10; the balance, powder of intermetallic compound of samarium and cobalt kJ/m3. Composite material features improved magnetic properties: residual induction (B) 0.72-0.77 T; induction coercive force (H) 452-480 kA/m; maximum BH product 90-95 kJ/sq.cm that exceeds the known values by 1.3-1.5 times.
