FIELD: devices for separating gas from drops of liquid. SUBSTANCE: separator has vertical housing positioned above horizontal liquid collector. Gas duct disposed in liquid collector connects rectified gas outlet branch pipe with liquid collector gas cavity. Gas duct provides unidirectional suction gas flow from separator housing through collector into cleaned gas outlet branch pipe. It allows secondary entrainment of liquid film by suction gas reverse flow to be prevented. Inlet end of gas duct is disposed adjacent to upper generatrix of liquid collector so that splashes of liquid are prevented from getting into cleaned gas through gas duct and outlet branch pipe from liquid surface. Diameter of gas duct is equal to 0.2-0.28 of separator housing diameter. Distance between gas duct inlet end and separator housing is equal to 7.0-8.6 diameters of gas duct.
