Supplying pipes 4 of intake manifold 5 is coupled to the inlet passages 6 of cylinders through flanges 7. Pipes for water, inlet faces 9 of which point in outlet passages 6, are mounted in branch pipes 4. Minimum length of the supplying branch pipes, distance between outlet faces 9 and flanges 7, and ratio of the area of cross-section of branch pipe 4 to the cross- section area of pipes 8 are defined by relationships available in the invention description. EFFECT: full depression of flashbacks in the intake manifold. 2 dwg
