FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Method of operation of engine includes operation of first set of exhaust valves not allocated for recirculation of exhaust gases (EGR) of cylinders. First set of outlet valves directs exhaust gases to the turbine so that there is no overlap in events of opening of outlet valves. None of the first plurality of outlet valves outlet valves are open simultaneously with any other outlet valve from the first plurality of exhaust valves of the other of said non-EGR cylinders. Operation of one or more exhaust valves of the second plurality of exhaust valves of the cylinder allocated for the EGR. Second set of outlet valves directs the exhaust gases into the inlet header so as to shut off opening of one or more outlet valves of the second plurality of outlet valves with opening of outlet valves of two cylinders, which are not allocated for EGR. Flash, through ignition, in the cylinder selected for the EGR at a time different from the flash moments for each of the cylinders which are not allocated for the EGR. Invention discloses engine operating method and engine system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of engine efficiency due to uniform distribution of pulses of exhaust gases supplied to turbine supercharger by time.
