METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LOOSE MATERIAL BRIQUETTES Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: loose material pressing. SUBSTANCE: at free charging of pressing chamber 1 through two charging ports 5 the upper material layer is shaped in the form of a hollow symmetrical relative to one of the horizontal axes of pressing chamber 1 and extending along it. Pressing is performed at mean pressure of (50-70)·10⁵ Pa by two pressing plates 2 and 4 positioned one above the other. Symmetrical projections 3 forming apertures to receive a fork gripper on the hollow sides are located on upper plate 2. After pressing the tightened mass is unpressed and then repressed at mean pressure of (50-70)·10⁵ Pa. The pressing force at the aperture points is equal to (150-200)·10⁵ Pa due to larger height of the pressed material. Further, the briquette is held under a pressure in a strengthening chamber and pushed out to a transport system and is delivered for packing in a container. EFFECT: improved briquette strength. 3 dwg
