FIELD: radio electronics. SUBSTANCE: adjustable ultrasonic delay line has monocrystal domain acoustic line 1 of two domains 2 and 3 isolated by planar domain boundary 4, input longitudinal acoustic volume mode transducer 5, output acoustic shear volume mode transducer 6, control electrodes 8 and 9 connected to regulated d.c. voltage source 7. Domain boundary plane is perpendicular to propagation of acoustic volume waves and polarization vector of transducer 6 is parallel to plane of domain boundary 4. Longitudinal acoustic volume wave emitted by input transducer 5 is re-emitted by domain boundary 4 into two (longitudinal and shear) waves; only shear acoustic volume waves are transformed at output transducer 6 and converted into electric signal. Since transverse acoustic volume wave velocity is lower than velocity of longitudinal acoustic volume wave, adjustment range of ultrasonic delay line increases at displacement of domain boundary 4. EFFECT: enlarged adjustment range of delay line. 1 dwg
