FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: speed governor has fixed brake bushing, brake blocks, adjusting spring assembly. Brake blocks are hinged on one end on drive shaft and movable end of brake blocks is attached to drive shaft by means of adjusting spring assembly. The latter has two links and spring inbetween. One link is hinged on drive shaft and other one is screws perpendicularly into pin with threaded hole installed on movable end of brake blocks. Spring lock holding hinged link in desired position is installed lengthwise in pin provided with threaded hole. Speed is controlled by adjusting compressive force of spring with aid of threaded link turned through shaped end accessible through special port in brake bushing. EFFECT: enlarged range of emergency tripping speed governing, improved movement margin of spring with reliable locking of spring assembly parts. 3 dwg
